On Monday, January 15, our nation will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. While our Clubs and offices will be closed, we encourage our Club families to honor this day by taking the opportunity to volunteer and serve our community – to make a difference and be the positive change needed in today’s world.
We would like to also share that our parent organization, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, is being honored by the Martin Luther King Foundation with the prestigious Coretta Scott King A.N.G.E.L. Award (Advancing Nonviolence through Generations of Exceptional Leadership). Each year, this award is given to a youth organization or initiative that exemplifies exceptional leadership in the areas of peace, social justice and nonviolent social change. We are very proud of the efforts of all Clubs nationwide and here in York County who made a difference each and every day. #MLKdayofservice #GreatFutures
