Age of Members

BGCYC accepts members between the ages of 6 – 18 years of age. Our 5 elementary sites accept youth in grades K-5 who are at least 6 years old while our teen center accepts youth in middle and high school.

Membership Application

***NEW AS OF 2/1/2017***

We are now requiring that a paper registration form be completed for your child’s Club membership. Please do not utilize the Parent Portal to complete your child’s registration. The registration form can be turned in to your child’s Club or to our administrative office. It can also be emailed to or faxed to 803-324-7960. You may download and complete the membership form here.

Membership, Enrollment & Cost Information

An Club membership of $25 for a child to enroll in the BGCYC applies and is renewable each at the beginning of the After School and Summer Camp programs. Additional fees apply for After School enrollment for youth attending our elementary sites.

After School Program

Enrollment in our After School Program at our elementary sites is based on your child’s school lunch status. Payments can be made online through your Parent Portal account or in our administrative office. These fees are listed below and must be paid by the 15th of each month. Please note that for youth attending our Teen Center, no additional fees for enrollment in our After School Program; however, fees may apply for special activities for which additional information will be provided to you prior to the scheduled activity.

Elementary Site After School Program Fees

  • $80/month – Free Lunch Status
  • $140/month – Reduced Lunch Status
  • $200/month – Regular Lunch Status

**If your child receives free or reduced lunch, you have until the end of September to provide proof of lunch status. If not provided, your monthly fee will be adjusted to the regular lunch status fee.

Out of School Days

Your child’s After School membership includes most out of school days such as teacher workdays, half days and holidays. See your child’s Club page for a detailed calendar.

Summer Camp

BGCYC operates a Summer Camp Program at each of our Club sites that generally runs June – August. Dates will vary year to year and will be updated as information is available here. Summer fees and registration timelines will vary per Club.

Our staff members are caring youth development professionals who are trained to work with young children and teens. They mentor, guide and form positive relationships with youth. Our staff provide a safe and learning-centered environment in order to nurture each and every child that enters our doors.


Kids and teens will love coming to the Club because of the fun atmosphere, friends and caring staff. They will also greatly benefit from engaging nationally recognized youth development programs that help them prepare to become healthy, productive adults. Our programs engage young people in activities with adults, peers and family members that enable them to learn powerful life skills and introduce them to new experiences. Programs are age-appropriate and, based on the interests and needs of the boys and girls we serve, our Clubs offer diverse program activities around the following three areas:


Club members participate in Power Hour daily at our Clubs. Power Hour is homework help that encourages Club members at every age to become self-directed learners. Tutoring is also available for those interested. To learn more, talk to your Club director today.

Sports Leagues

Our Fall program semester includes our FREE Flag Football and Cheerleading program sponsored by the Buffalo Wild Wings All Star Program. In addition, our Spring program semester will include a basketball program. Additional sports opportunities will be presented throughout the program year.


All Club members are served a snack and a drink at the Club daily. Members attending our Teen Center also receive dinner.
